Hey Reality TV Addicts!

I recently discovered a new show that airs on TLC, it’s called Breaking Amish. Yes I know, I’m extremely late due to the fact that the series premiered in early September and is close to airing its reunion special.

If you’re the inquisitive type, then this show is definitely for you. It chronicles the lives of 5 young adults; 1 Mennonite and 4 Amish as they defy the rules of their religion/society and move to New York to experience a new reality.

Although Breaking Amish has been deemed controversial and entirely scripted, it makes good tv. *shrugs*

Cycle 20 of ANTM Will Feature Male Models!

The CW has announced that the next cycle of America’s Next Top Model will feature both male and female models vying for the top model title. The upcoming cycle will premiere in summer 2013  and is part of the network’s plan to increase original programming during the summer.

The announcement comes fresh after the network’s recent changes to the show that includes a new judging criteria in which the viewers play a pivotal role. Both male and female contestants will live in the same house which means viewers and endless superfans of the show can expect hookups, love triangles….and lots and lots of crying.

NICKI MINAJ THREATENS MARIAH CAREY DURING AMERICAN IDOL AUDITIONS. ( #AmericanIdol )

According to TMZ things between the two judges became so heated, it resulted in the day’s filming being cancelled. The two engaged in a heat verbal altercation over a disagreement about a contestant’s performance. In the video you can clearly hear Minaj shouting ”I told them, I’m not f*ckin’ putting up with her f*ckin’ highness over there.”

REAL HOUSEWIVES OF NEW JERSEY REUNION PREVIEW ( #RHONJ )

To be quite honest, I stopped watching this season after the 2nd episode. The family drama wasn’t entertaining, it was overbearing and uncomfortable to watch. Judging from the preview of the reunion set to air on Sunday it seems like I was right, things are a lot more intense among the cast mates.

R&B Divas - Lovin’ Me

I listened to this track roughly 8 times now, and with each listen I feel like rejoicing and crying. Their voices mesh so well, they could be singing about eating lunch and I’d just cry. This track is also the show’s theme song and is also an official track on the R&B Divas album due October 2nd.

Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey Already At Odds? ( #AmericanIdol )

In my country, there’s a saying “two borat cya live in one hole”…and this basically means two people of the same gender confined to a space will always be at odds. I guess American Idol’s latest celebrity judges, Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey are proving this theory to be right. It’s the battle of the Barbie versus the Butterfly.

There’s only room for one diva on the AI panel and in true diva-tastic Mariah is claiming her throne. Allegedly, during the AI taping last Sunday in NYC, Mariah continuously interrupted Minaj during her critique of a contestant, and each time Mariah interrupted, Nicki fought back by loudly talking over Mariah.

According to TMZ, one “A.I.” spy said Mariah and Nicki tried to cover their disdain for each other but everyone saw through it, adding, “These girls just don’t like each other.”

Even Drag superstar RuPaul wants a piece of the sassified beauty queen we all know and love as “Honey Boo Boo Child”. “I’m doing a duet record and I’m here to ask Honey Boo Boo Child to be my duet partner!” RuPaul told E! News at the MTV VMA’s ”I love anybody who dances to the beat of a different drummer.” he continued.

Although Honey Boo Boo doesn’t seem to be running to the studio anytime soon, she’s not afraid to lend her vocals creating her own catchy little ditty titled. “Honey Boo Boo Child”.

With that being said, Honey Ru Ru? Yay or Nay? And can you imagine Honey Boo Boo as a guest judge on RuPaul’s Drag Race? Yes Ma’am!!
